Finding a suitable pool is not always easy, so when Eliza emailed me and asked for suggestions for a kiddie pool for her and her 2 year old girl, i agreed to help her. Intex Rainbow Swim Center facts
This pool measures 96" x 96" and is 26" deep. It has a built in seats with backrests in each of the four corners. These seats are 10 gauge for durability and comfort. The pool inflates fast and is ready for fun within an hour after you start unpacking it. The pool is inflated in 2 sections and is made out of sturdy layered PVC. Besides this, the pool also has 2 convenient drink holders. The pool also comes with a repair patch to fix simple tears and smaller holes.
Intex Swim Center Family Lounge Pool Review
For toddlers and younger children, this pool is great. It's not deep enough to pose any direct danger (of course, you can never children unattended in a pool), yet it's deep enough to feel more like a pool then a puddle. The Intex Swim Center Family Lounge Pool really lives up to it's name as both adults and kids can enjoy this pool. Adults can lounge in the attached inflatable seats while the kids go nuts in the rest of the pool. The pool is even big enough for a regular sized adult to stretch out in after a long days work (might be a good time to put the drink holders to good use).
The pool is sturdy, durable and can withstand a lot of wild playing and climbing on the walls.

It hasn't been easy finding any cons for this Intex family pool. The closest I have been able to get is that i think the name could be a bit misleading. But that's just petty, isn't it?

A Review of Intex Rainbow Ring Pool Play Center
Introduction
My brother has a small girl that turned 1 this March (congrats J!) and he was asking me if i could look up a kiddie pool for her and her 3 year old brother to enjoy this summer. I did my usual routine, and soon found a great option for their family. The Intex Rainbow Ring Pool Play Center.
Intex Rainbow Ring Pool Play Center facts
This is one feature packed kidde pool! It consist out of two circular pools, that are inflated separately. There is an inflatable slide between the pools, and a ball roller game in one of the pools. The other pool holds a rainbow, a ring throwing target as well as a ball throwing target (6 balls included) and a water sprayer that connects to the garden hose. A repair patch is also included in the package. The setup is really easy, as you just unfold the pool, spread it and start inflating the walls, either by pump or by using your lungs. After that's done you need to inflate the slide and the additional features manually. Then just fill it with fresh water (fully inflated, the pool holds approx. 100 gallons), and you're set to go!
The Intex Rainbow Ring Pool Play Center is made out of durable PVC and should hold well for the wear and tear little children can put onto it. There's a drain valve at the bottom of each pool, which makes draining it a breeze.
Intex Pool Play Center Review
From what i have learned, this is the ultimate play center for preschool kids! The amount of fun to bed had in this kiddie pool is enormous. The water sprayer, that connects to your garden hose, sprays in and around the pool, and kids go crazy for it. Jumping between the pools and sliding down the little slide seem to be other favorite activities. Having reviewed a few Intex pools before i was sure about the quality aspect, but not about the playfulness. It seems like they have their childhood mindsets intact at Intex, because this Rainbow Ring Pool Play Center is the real deal!
Here are the pros with this Intex Rainbow Pool from my viewpoint:
- Very easy setup
- Versatile for play
- Durable
- FUN!
The only con i have been able to find is that it is a bit of a hassle to clean it, since three are so many parts and features to this kiddie pool. But i would not call that a major drawback, compared to all the positive features this pool play center has.

I am pretty convinced this Pool Play Center will be a huge hit with my brother and his kids. I just hope my brother can keep up! Introduction
My sister is coming to visit in a few weeks with her 4 year old twins. I wanted us all to be able to have a good time in the pools, so i decided to look for a suitable kiddie pool for the lively little 4-year olds. I wanted to find a pool that is deep enough to have that pool feeling, yet shallow and small enough to be safe for the kids. After some researching I've set my mind on this BOS rectangular inflatable pool
Facts
The pool measures 120 x 72 x 22 inches. Note that these are outer measurements, so expect slightly smaller inner measurements. The material used for this pool is 17 gauge vinyl, which is very durable. The pool inflates in three different sections, and each of these air chambers have double air intakes. The pool has a convenient free flow exhaust valve and comes with a very practical repair kit for small holes and tears. When fully inflated, the pool holds around 350 gallons of water and is big enough to contain 3 adults or 5-6 kids.
Review
This BOS rectangular inflatable pool is sturdy, and durable. It will last you a couple of summers under normal use, and is a great way to enjoy a warm summer day for kids and grown ups alike. As this pool holds 350 gallons of water it's really big for a kiddie pool, which makes it fun even for the slightly bigger kids.

I did find a few cons for this pool aswell. Since there is not motor or filter, you can not use any chemicals to keep the water clean. This means that you have to replace the water quite often and/or use a protective cover to keep debris out of the pool. It also takes some time to fill, and drain, the inflatable pool.
